Staff RN – Emergency Department

About the role

Triage and treat a full range of emergency presentations in a Level II trauma-capable ED, working closely with physicians, paramedics, and trauma teams on overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid triage and ongoing reassessment of ED patients
• Initiate emergency interventions and stabilize critical patients
• Partner with EMS, trauma, and physician teams on incoming traumas
• Document care accurately in a fast-moving, high-volume environment
• Support de-escalation and safety for behavioral health presentations

Requirements

• Current Nebraska RN license or active compact state license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required within 90 days
• TNCC preferred; ED or critical care experience a plus

Schedule

Able to work overnight shifts including every 3rd weekend

Pay
