Staff RN - Emergency Department

About the role

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in diverse, acute healthcare settings, primarily in the Emergency Department, with potential to float to other sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and diagnose health issues.
• Develop, document, and implement individualized care plans to achieve desired outcomes.
• Evaluate patient responses to interventions and revise care plans as needed, working within a multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance clinical quality, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and efficiency standards as a High Reliability Organization (HRO).

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred after 5 years of employment.
• Current Ohio RN license or multi-state compact license in good standing.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Skills

• Strong assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation skills, with a focus on safety and quality care.
