Staff Research Associate

Under the direct supervision of the Principal Investigator, the Staff Research Associate I (SRA 1) will provide baseline technical and administrative support to ongoing educational research initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data collection activities, including scheduling school site visits, distributing student surveys, and recruiting schools.
• Perform accurate data entry and clean qualitative transcription files.
• Maintain the project database in strict compliance with human subjects institutional review board (IRB) and privacy regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or related field.
• Experience in educational/school-based research.
• Ability to assist with the supervision and training of students/staff.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to make contributions to field-based research under close supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of motivation theories and research.
• Knowledge of database management and statistical software.
• Familiarity with exceptional child development literature and theory.

Pay

The full salary range for the Staff Research Associate I is $30.41 - $36.31 per hour. The expected pay scale for this position is up to $30.41 per hour. Salary offers are based on education, licensure, certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
