About the role
The TSET Health Promotion Research Center (HPRC) at Stephenson Cancer Center is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Research Assistant to work on a variety of research projects involving physical activity and dietary behaviors, as well as mindfulness and wellness promotion among those living with and beyond cancer or having select neurological conditions.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for participants at the HPRC.
- Participant recruitment.
- Communicating with study participants.
- Data collection.
- Record keeping.
- Logistics management.
- Data analyses.
- Report preparation.
- Development of study intervention materials for a mobile application (app) development platform.
- Collaborate with principal investigators and other study personnel, clinicians, and researchers.
- Contribute to scientific publications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biology, Psychology, Engineering, Computer Science, Sociology, or a related discipline aligned with the specific area of research or project focus).
- One year of experience supporting research or working in a laboratory setting.
Qualifications
- Experience or a combination of education & related experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
