Staff Psychiatrist
About the role
Wexford Health Sources, Inc. is one of the nation's largest correctional health care providers. Over the past 30 years, our team of dedicated clinical professionals has helped millions of justice-involved patients receive life-changing medical and mental health services. The Staff Psychiatrist is responsible for providing consultation, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning and treatment to inmates at their assigned correctional facility. Responsible for the delivery of contracted services, personnel, and coordination of psychiatric/behavioral health services and programs. Serves as the behavioral health liaison between Wexford Health and the correctional system.
Schedule
Full Time, Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM at NHDOC facilities, Concord campus, Concord, NH (onsite). W-2 or 1099 available.

Requirements
- Current New Hampshire Medical license required (at time of start date) — willing to help with NH licensure application
- Current New Hampshire Controlled Substance license and New Hampshire DEA required (at time of start date)
- Current CPR certification required, hands on (at time of start date)
- Medical Degree with psychiatry residency required
- 3 years experience in an institutional healthcare setting preferred
