Staff Psychiatrist

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Psychiatrist to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will provide psychiatric care for patients with complex behavioral health needs in a virtual treatment setting. The psychiatrist will focus on assessment, medication management, and medical oversight for high-acuity cases, with particular attention to eating disorder-related care and safety. Close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team will be essential to support coordinated treatment plans and positive patient outcomes. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $250,000 – $300,000 annually Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and medication management for patients Monitor vital signs and clinical indicators in a virtual setting Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to create care plans Use EMR for patient communication and documentation Participate in weekly treatment meetings and case reviews Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board-certified or board-eligible in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Experience in eating disorder medical management and refeeding risk evaluation Strong medical knowledge and confidence in virtual care for high-acuity cases Excellent communication skills for patient and team collaboration Benefits Flexibility with remote work and hours Flex PTO policy, 3-5 weeks recommended, plus 11 paid holidays Employer-paid mental health benefit including therapy and coaching sessions Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage Student loan repayment program with increasing benefits based on tenure Funding for continuing education and licensing reimbursement Work-from-home stipends for internet and office setup Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
