About the role
The role involves traffic planning and design, focusing on developing sustainable transportation solutions and improving road safety.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement traffic flow optimization strategies
- Conduct traffic studies and analyze data to inform design decisions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success
- Prepare and present reports on traffic planning and design projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in traffic engineering or related field
- Proficiency in traffic simulation software and GIS tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of traffic engineering principles and practices
- Experience with traffic signal design and intersection analysis
- Understanding of traffic modeling and forecasting techniques
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with traffic engineering software (e.g., Synchro, CORSIM)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
