Staff Product Manager, Virtual Platforms

About the role

Shape product priorities that connect customer needs, business goals, and practical execution. Partner with engineering, design, analytics, and go-to-market teams to define opportunities, prioritize work, and deliver measurable product outcomes. Influence roadmap direction while improving customer experience and business performance within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for the products portfolio, ensuring synergy between offerings
• Lead the virtualization platform roadmap, prioritizing new platforms based on customer demands
• Oversee storage ecosystem qualifications and partner engagements for customer deployments
• Define standards for deployment, qualification, and support of software-only solutions
• Develop the commercial case for the portfolio, including pricing and positioning, for executive approval
• Integrate AI into product evaluation, deployment, and operations
• Influence cross-functional teams to align business visions across departments
• Act as a mentor for fellow Product Managers, fostering clarity in ambiguous situations

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience, particularly in platform or infrastructure roles
• Demonstrated success managing multiple high-impact products simultaneously
• Broad knowledge of enterprise virtualization technologies and major vendors
• Experience with Kubernetes and container delivery models is highly desirable
• Understanding of enterprise storage types and performance criteria for qualifications
• Experience with AI-driven product capabilities and integrating AI into workflows
• Strong business acumen with presentation and influence skills
• Bachelor's in Computer Science or Engineering; MBA or Master's preferred

Pay

$175,500 – $263,300 annually
