Staff Product Manager, Risk Product Experience

Overview

The Risk Product Experience team develops products for users to understand, manage, and improve their risk standing on Stripe. These risk experiences are some of Stripe's most critical user journeys, allowing seamless onboarding to the global financial ecosystem and applying targeted actions to stop fraud and financial crime.

Responsibilities

  • Define the strategy and roadmap for existing and new Risk product experiences
  • Drive collaboration across Stripe and external partners to deliver delightful, high-performing end-to-end risk journeys
  • Act as the voice of the user in product and API designs, gathering direct feedback from customers and internal stakeholders
  • Work with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams on designing a personalized and scalable onboarding experience

Requirements

  • 8+ years in Product Management, specifically in delivering outstanding user experiences for complex and technical products
  • Experience managing technical software products from kickoff to ship
  • Consistent track record of leading ambitious and ambiguous 0-to-1 projects
  • Strong stakeholder management including navigating difficult situations, negotiating timelines, and influencing internal and external stakeholders across organizations and borders
  • Strong communication skills—you can summarize and express complex requirements in an accessible and precise manner
  • Preferably has experience with B2B SaaS or Fintech Consumer
  • Preferably has experience with compliance and regulation in financial services
  • Experience working on zero-to-one products, particularly in startups

Qualifications

  • Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users
  • Remote locations are defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from one of our offices
  • The annual US base salary range for this role is $194,800 - $292,200
  • Additional benefits include equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends
  • Office locations are New York, South San Francisco HQ, or Seattle
  • Remote locations are Remote in United States
