This role is part of the Top of Funnel Growth team at Reddit, which focuses on growing users and accelerating adoption across multiple channels. The team implements cutting-edge growth strategies to increase awareness, attract new users, and convert them into retained and recurring users, solving complex problems in a constantly evolving ecosystem.
About the Role
As a key part of the open internet, Reddit’s SEO performance helps millions of users discover communities and content. This role will drive Reddit’s SEO efforts and support Machine Translation, working with an experienced engineering team to navigate the ever-changing search ecosystem. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical excellence and focus on building a forward-looking, AI-native search strategy.
Responsibilities
- Own all product development for supporting and improving Reddit’s SEO efforts.
- Develop and implement a forward-looking SEO strategy to substantially grow top-of-funnel user acquisition.
- Lead technical SEO initiatives spanning site architecture, internal linking, crawl efficiency, schema markup, index health, and more.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Analytics, and Category teams to embed SEO into platform development.
- Create ideal user flows to retain acquired users and clarify Reddit’s value proposition for SEO-driven users.
- Develop frameworks for optimizing structured data, content signals, and entity authority for LLM discoverability.
Requirements
- A foundational understanding of the SEO ecosystem.
- Expertise in technical SEO at scale, including large site architecture, programmatic SEO, structured data, and crawl optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience working as a product manager.
- Experience delivering or partnering with cross-functional teams to execute complex, scaled projects.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in applied statistical analysis.
- Proven ability to drive execution across the entire product development cycle.
- Demonstrated collaboration across functions, even without direct authority.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience writing SQL queries and exploring data independently.
- PhD or Master’s in Probability, Statistics, or Behavioral Economics.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $217,000—$303,900 USD. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for equity in the form of restricted stock units and may include commission, depending on the position.
