Staff Product Manager (Efficient & Always-on Transactions)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality database solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Provide technical guidance and support to users
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of product features and functionality

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in database development and management
• Experience with CockroachDB or similar distributed SQL databases
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Passionate about technology and innovation
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles

Skills

• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices
• Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Roachers come into one of our offices on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday and work flexibly the rest of the week.

Location

Remote-based designations are exclusively reserved for in-region required roles in Field Sales, Sales Engineering, and Enterprise Architecture. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis for niche and/or expert roles at the executive team’s discretion.
