Staff Product Designer

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Product Designer to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will lead technical work focused on cloud-enabled scalability, reliability, and delivery excellence. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Design cohesive and accessible multi-service system views for developers
• Create system-level observability designs that aggregate crucial project information
• Develop coordinated deployment and rollback interfaces to ease complex application shipping
• Transform error states and failures into helpful user experiences
• Design an exceptional first-run experience to gain user trust quickly
• Engage in concept explorations and contribute to the platform's future vision

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in developer tools, cloud infrastructure, or complex products
• Exceptional taste and craft with an eye for detail in design elements
• Strong information architecture skills, simplifying complex relationships
• Experience designing complete user journeys across multiple surfaces
• Fluent in developer language with understanding of services and CI/CD processes
• Respect for failure states, designing for users in stress scenarios
• Systems fluency to contribute effectively to design systems

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 annually
