Staff Power Systems Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Staff Power Systems Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa or Long Beach, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for owning vehicle system-level electrical power analyses and architecture to ensure our aircraft meet mission and flight requirements. You will lead key technical analyses; including Electrical Loads Analysis (ELA), Emergency Mode Analysis, Battery Sizing, and Bus Integrity. While also driving the power architecture roadmap for the New Aircraft program and next generation vehicle variants. This will require deep expertise in large air-vehicle power distribution systems, simulation tools (e.g., LTspice, SIMPLIS), and military compliance standards (MIL-STD-464, 461, 810, 1760). If you are a seasoned technical leader who thrives on end-to-end ownership, complex vehicle integration, and shaping technical roadmaps for high-visibility autonomous airframes, this role is for you.
