Staff Physician (Women's Health Focus)
Major Duties And Responsibilities
- Participates in peer review and quality improvement activities of the department
- Provides high quality clinical care in a multidisciplinary environment
- Maintains the standard of clinical care, using diagnostic testing appropriately and providing appropriate treatment
- Uses diagnostic testing appropriately yet cost-effectively, and providing appropriate treatment
- Considers the psychosocial aspects of both health and disease
- Maintains educational competencies, identifies educational deficits and plans ways to meet those deficits
- Sets seeks consultation and makes referrals when appropriate

- Maintains complete and comprehensive documentation

Education And/Or Experience: M.D. or D.O. with completion of an accredited residency training program in Family Medicine or completion of at least two years of an accredited OB/GYN residency training program with subsequent completion of a primary care residency program. Board Certified/Board Eligible Completion of medical degree and an accredited residency program Appropriate Maryland licensure and clinical certification, DEA and Maryland CDS, X license. Interest in and/or experience in community health settings Experience working in a diverse environment Ability to work harmoniously with diverse groups of individuals required Excellent communication and team skills required. Working Conditions/Physical Demands Work is typically performed in an office environment.
