Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- To schedule outpatients for CT Imaging studies at UMHC/SCCC during Saturday daytime hours.
- To triage or answer questions related to CT Imaging Studies from CT Technologists.
- To cover patients who are injected with IV Iodinated Contrast if they experience a Contrast Media Reaction.
- To provide initial response, assessment, and treatment for mild to moderate IV Iodinated Contrast Media Reactions.
- To provide initial response, assessment, and treatment for severe IV Iodinated Contrast Reactions.
- To provide BLS (Basic Life Support) until the UMHC/SCCC Code team arrives for cardiac or respiratory arrests.
Education Requirements (Essential Requirements)
- M.D. degree.
- Physician license required.
