Responsibilities

• Provide direct medical attention to residents across assigned living areas and other locations as needed.
• Evaluate residents through physical examinations, diagnostic studies, and appropriate treatments.
• Record all clinical decisions and actions clearly, including progress notes and required reports.
• Write accurate medication orders, review drug regimens, and complete mandated medication reviews.
• Support other physicians by offering guidance and expertise when requested.
• Follow federal, state, and organizational regulations while maintaining required continuing education.

Schedule

• Full-time employment.
• Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Participates in on-call schedule for nights, weekends, and holidays. Overtime as needed. This may change based on operational needs.
• No telework option available for this position.

Pay

In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Requirements

• Three years of experience and/or training in the practice of medicine.
• Possession of a license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as issued by the State Medicine Board or the State Osteopathic Medicine Board.
• Ability to perform essential job functions.

Additional Information

• A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening.
• This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
• PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
