Licensed Practical Nurse - South Mountain Restoration Center (2nd & 3rd shift)
About the role
The Licensed Practical Nurse role at South Mountain Restoration Center supports residents in a long-term care setting. You will provide direct care and communicate effectively with the nursing team.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care including assistance with activities of daily living, skin care, meals, and routine tasks
- Record vital signs and resident responses
- Follow medication policies and carry out physicians' orders accurately
- Share important resident information with the nursing team and use clear and respectful communication techniques
- Follow infection control steps, use proper equipment, and maintain awareness of safety and security procedures
- Work under supervision, assist coworkers, and respond to direction in a positive and flexible manner
Requirements
This position requires active authorization to practice as a Licensed Practice Nurse in Pennsylvania. All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse within one year defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
Qualifications
Necessary Special Requirements: Active authorization to practice as a Licensed Practice Nurse in Pennsylvania. PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title. Must be able to perform essential job functions.

Pay
Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $68,914 (before taxes).
Schedule
Full-time employment. Work hours are 2nd shift (2:45 PM to 11:15 PM, 30-minute lunch), or 3rd shift (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, no lunch). Rotating on and off duty days including weekends and holidays. Overtime and travel as needed.
