About the role

This position provides comprehensive patient care to members by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, counseling members regarding health care and prescription medication needs, and maintaining confidential information, controlled medications, and required documentation. The role also models, enforces, and guides associates on proper member service approaches, ensures compliance with company and legal policies, and maintains records per company, state, and federal guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Process and accurately dispense prescription orders
• Administer immunizations
• Counsel members regarding health care and prescription medication needs
• Maintain confidential information, controlled medications, and required documentation
• Model, enforce, and provide direction to associates on proper member service approaches and techniques to resolve member needs, complaints, and issues within company guidelines
• Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations by analyzing and interpreting reports, implementing and monitoring loss prevention and safety controls, overseeing safety operational and quality assurance reviews, developing and implementing action plans, and providing direction on executing company programs and strategic initiatives
• Maintain confidential information, documentation, and assigned records as required by company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree or equivalent FPGEC (NABP)
• Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
• Completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program (e.g., APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00 – $172,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) adjustments based on location.
