WAITER/WAITRESS (FULL TIME)

Location: Revel Lacey – 211 HOH Street Southeast, Lacey, WA 98516.

Pay

Fixed Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Takes food and beverage orders and efficiently delivers items to dining‑room guests.

Responsibilities

• Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room; take food and beverage orders efficiently, following established steps of service.
• Deliver food promptly and professionally; maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards.
• Follow up periodically to assist with any additional needs or requests.
• Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients; advise guests on appropriate combinations of food and drinks when requested; accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences.
• As needed, demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens.
• Communicate directly with back‑of‑the‑house staff to ensure orders are delivered correctly and special requests are accommodated.
• Exhibit exceptional communication skills and get along well with others; remain flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff.
• Collect tickets and follow proper cash‑handling procedures.
• Promote a clean, safe and neat environment for guests; maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information.
• Promptly address complaints or issues; relay relevant information or complaints directly to supervisor.
• Ensure the dining room is properly set up prior to and after the service period; keep area clean and neat while meeting established sanitation standards.
• Operate a variety of equipment, including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells and coffee machines.
• Work with staff of other departments to perform job duties during special events and functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
