Staff Pharmacist Per Diem

Primary Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and dispense medication orders to ensure appropriateness, safety, and accuracy
- Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management and pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to optimize medication regimens for hospitalized patients
- Maintain the security of pharmacy and controlled substances
- Enter orders and patient information with accuracy
- Aid in the training of new staff
- Update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy
- Aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy
Requirements
- BS or PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy
- Current Arizona Pharmacist license in good standing
- Experience using MS Office and pharmacy information systems
- Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns

Pay
The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.09 to $78.70 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
Schedule
This per diem, nonexempt position will provide coverage to cover PTO, weekends and holidays as needed. There are no regularly scheduled hours for this position.
About the Pharmacy
The pharmacy utilizes Omnicell and Cerner including E-Mar and CPOE. You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Location
Via Linda Behavioral Hospital is a 120-bed hospital in Scottsdale, Arizona, specializing in mental health services and substance use treatment for teens and adults experiencing issues such as depression, anxiety, personality disorders and co-occurring addictions.
