Staff Pharmacist Per Diem
About the role
The Per Diem Pharmacist will apply clinical expertise by evaluating and interpreting medication orders, compounding, and dispensing prescriptions in accordance with legal and professional standards. They will identify, prevent, and resolve medication-related issues to ensure safe, effective, and individualized patient care.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and interpret medication orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness
- Dispense prescriptions in compliance with legal and professional standards
- Identify, prevent, and resolve medication-related issues to promote patient safety
- Apply evidence-based protocols to support clinically sound and cost-effective drug therapy
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize individualized patient care plans
- Maintain regulatory compliance and uphold pharmacy operational standards
Requirements
- ACPE-accredited pharmacy degree (PharmD preferred)
- Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license in good standing
Preferred Qualification
- Some hospital experience

Benefits

Schedule
Provides PTO coverage for existing pharmacists. Shifts are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM.
