Staff Pharmacist - Fulfillment

About the role

A Staff Pharmacist compounds and dispenses medications in compliance with corporate policies and regulatory standards. The role includes tracking order status, verifying medication orders prepared by technicians, and providing oversight and quality assurance to pharmacy technicians while managing workflow.

Responsibilities

• Ensure medication accuracy and adherence to corporate and regulatory guidelines
• Track order status and verify medication orders from technicians
• Train less experienced pharmacists as needed
• Program medication infusion pumps and calculate proper dosing
• Manage team workflow and provide oversight to pharmacy technicians
• Support other pharmacists and adapt to a changing environment

Requirements

• Current resident pharmacist license
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to read prescriptions accurately
• Adaptability in a dynamic work environment

Qualifications

Retail or mail order pharmacy experience is preferred.
