This role involves supporting the Pharmacy Manager, ensuring safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, and contributing to positive patient experiences.

Responsibilities

• Help manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Oversee the pharmacy as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts, including coaching and providing feedback to the pharmacy team.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following pharmacy workflow procedures and safety guardrails.
• Proactively offer and deliver immunizations to keep patients healthy.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, with a focus on protecting cold chain products.
• Ensure pharmacy operations comply with state Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Support access to care through pharmacist-delivered clinical services (e.g., COVID/Flu testing, Hormonal Contraception prescribing).
• Maintain relevant clinical and technical skills, including completing required trainings and CMEs.

Requirements

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Qualifications

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Strong attention to detail, customer service, and communication skills.
• Mathematical reasoning and issue resolution abilities.
• Physical demands include standing, lifting up to 20 lbs., and close visual acuity.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service.
• Ability to work in other locations across the market as needed.

Pay

The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is $60.00 - $76.00 per hour. The actual base salary offer will depend on experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program.
