Responsibilities

• Perform distribution, documentation, and compounding of drugs, solutions, and equipment to meet patient and staff needs.
• Review, compound, dispense, and monitor medication therapy for infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including dosing variations, nutritional needs, and disease‑state considerations.
• Supervise pharmacy technician activities, monitoring all orders filled by auxiliary personnel.
• Maintain competency and pursue self‑development in professional pharmacy practice.
• Provide patient‑focused clinical care throughout the hospital to ensure optimal medication therapy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an ACPE‑accredited school of pharmacy.
• Hospital pharmacy experience (preferred).
• Current Georgia registered pharmacist license (required).
