What you'll do...
- Process and accurately dispense prescription orders.
- Counsel patients regarding health care and prescription medication needs.
- Maintain confidential information and required documentation.
- Administer immunizations and other programs developed by Walmart.
- Model and provide guidance to pharmacy staff on proper customer service approaches.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide comprehensive patient care by administering medications and counseling patients.
- Support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Use tools, data, and personal conversations to understand the community and stay updated on health issues.
- Model and enforce compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Manage confidential information and assigned records as required by Company policies and local, State, and Federal guidelines.
- Model professional judgment and use expertise to make recommendations or decisions.
- Develop and implement plans, practices, and processes to better achieve organizational goals.
- Build trusting, collaborative relationships and alliances across functional and organizational boundaries.
- Communicate clear expectations regarding quality of care and patient safety.
- Ensure others are held accountable for following standard operating procedures (SOP) and achieving expected quality and patient safety goals.
- Analyze and identify areas of improvement needed and implement intervention steps to improve team knowledge and focus on patient safety and risk reduction.
- Promote reporting and transparency of errors whether actual or patient perceived.
- Write timely and effective plans of action focused on identification and correction of root cause.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
