Job Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, delegate, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a group of patients.
- Educate patients and families in health promotion and disease management.
- Administer medications safely according to UHS Hospitals policy.
- Ensure productivity and effective resource utilization.
- Comply with nursing practice standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the Nursing Shared Governance Model and professional development.
- Integrate nursing research and evidence into practice.
- Support learning for new employees and students.
- Perform duties related to Charge Nurse or Shift Coordinator role when assigned.
- Participate in the Clinical Ladder Program.
Skills & Experience
- 6 months - 3 years of Nursing (RN) experience required.
- Skills in collaboration, communication, judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
- PREFERRED: Experience in acute care or ambulatory settings.
Schedule & Certifications
- 12 nights, 36 hours/week, every 3rd weekend.
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS.
