Job Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, delegate, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a group of patients.
  • Educate patients and families in health promotion and disease management.
  • Administer medications safely according to UHS Hospitals policy.
  • Ensure productivity and effective resource utilization.
  • Comply with nursing practice standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in the Nursing Shared Governance Model and professional development.
  • Integrate nursing research and evidence into practice.
  • Support learning for new employees and students.
  • Perform duties related to Charge Nurse or Shift Coordinator role when assigned.
  • Participate in the Clinical Ladder Program.

Skills & Experience

  • 6 months - 3 years of Nursing (RN) experience required.
  • Skills in collaboration, communication, judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
  • PREFERRED: Experience in acute care or ambulatory settings.

Schedule & Certifications

  • 12 nights, 36 hours/week, every 3rd weekend.
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS.
