Staff Nurse - RN (Registered Nurse)

About the role

Marklund is a nonprofit organization that provides residential, educational, and therapy services to individuals with serious and profound developmental disabilities and special healthcare needs. The role involves administering medications, tube feedings, and treatments as prescribed, preparing health assessments, and liaising between residents, parents, physicians, and case managers.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, tube feedings, and treatments as prescribed.
• Prepare quarterly health assessments and annual assessments.
• Inform the physician of changes in resident health status and implement physicians' orders to ensure optimal health care.
• Complete daily charting for care provided.
• Act as a liaison between residents, parents, physicians, consultants, and case managers regarding resident status.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN), current on the Illinois Health Care Worker Registry.
• Possess current BLS CPR certification for Healthcare Workers.
• Able to perform essential functions of the job and meet functional and environmental requirements.

Pay

• Hourly rate of $34.25/hr - $36.75/hr based on qualifications and experience.
• Additional differentials of $1 for PM weekdays, $2 for night weekdays, $5 for AM weekends, $6 for PM weekends, and $7 for night weekends.
• PRN/IHR (On-Call) RN rate is $37/hr with an additional $2 differential for weekends.
