Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatric Intensive Care and Pediatric Transport - Full Time - Night

About the role

This position includes transporting critical pediatric patients throughout the tri-state area for all New York-Presbyterian campuses and working in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at NYP/Weill Cornell Medical Center Komansky Children's Hospital. Pediatric Intensive Care nurses are a crucial part of our team of leading physicians, surgeons, and specialists, providing high-level pediatric care.

Responsibilities

• Transporting critical pediatric patients throughout the tri-state area for all New York-Presbyterian campuses
• Care for pediatric patients requiring ground transport collaboratively with our Critical Care Paramedic Team
• Providing high-level pediatric care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
• Ensuring pediatric patients are given the ability to receive care throughout NYP in the hospital setting most appropriate to their clinical needs with consideration to proximity of their community

Requirements

• Pediatric Transport experience
• NRPPALSACLS
• New Jersey Licensure
• CCRN Certification

Qualifications

• At least two years of acute care Pediatric Intensive Care RN experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Current New York State RN license
