Staff Nurse - RN - Hospital at Home - Full time Days
Hospital at Home is a unique and innovative program at NYP that provides inpatient hospital level care at the patient’s home. The program combines daily in-home visits, virtual visits, and 24/7 remote patient monitoring to give eligible patients an opportunity to stay in the comfort of their own home while receiving their hospital care. This program will be designed and delivered by NYP providers and clinical staff, allowing NYP's best-in-class care across all measures of quality, service, cost, and innovation to be continued in the home setting. Hospital at Home will provide strategic value to NYP by alleviating capacity constraints, improving patient experience, reducing readmission rates, and driving cost savings to the organization.
Required Criteria
- At least two years of RN experience in Med/Surg or SDU
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Current New York State RN license
- BCLS certification thru AHA
Preferred Criteria
- At least two years of RN experience in ED department
Qualifications
This is a full time day shift position, 8am - 8:30pm shift times. 3 shifts per week, Weekend and Holiday requirement. This program is at the Weill Cornell campus, located at 60th street site.
