Staff Nurse RN - ED (Inpatient Holding)

About the Role

The role encompasses the management of patient care through implementation of the nursing process, supervision of licensed and unlicensed personnel, and coordination of interdisciplinary care.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification.
• Basic Arrhythmia and Basic 12-lead EKG certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Workplace Violence AB508/SB1299 Training within 4 months of hire/transfer into the Emergency Department (re-certification required the following year, then bi-annually).
• One year of recent Acute Care nursing experience preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing.
• Able to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing, prioritizing, delegating patient care, and completing work assignments as well as other duties as assigned.
• Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.

Pay

$47.90 - $71.84 per hour. The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay that was available for this position at the time of posting and may be subject to change. Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
