Position Overview
United Health Services (UHS) Chenango Memorial Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Staff Registered Nurse (RN) or Graduate Nurse (GN).

Compensation Range
- $38.77 - $55.00 per hour, depending on experience
Sign-on Incentive
Experienced candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000.
Job Responsibilities
- Affords nursing care for a group of patients, serving as a primary nurse and/or accountable nurse when designated by unit assignment
- Edifies patients and families in health promotion and disease management using available resources
- Uses a working knowledge of pharmacology and safely administers medications according to United Health Services policy
- Shares responsibility for productivity and effective resource utilization including staffing, time management, supplies, and services
- Complies with all nursing practice standards, regulatory requirements, and United Health Services policies
- Actively participates in and supports the Nursing Shared Governance Model by supporting the Unit Council, participating in improvement initiatives, and contributing to peer review practices
- Actively engages in professional development, continuing nursing education, and completes all mandatory education requirements
- Integrates nursing research and current evidence into practice
- Provides a supportive learning environment for new employees and students
- Performs duties related to the Charge Nurse or Shift Coordinator role when assigned
Position Qualifications
- Minimum Required: A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Current NYS RN License or Valid NYS Limited Permit to practice as a GN
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
- Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting
- Professional certification in a related nursing specialty
- Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned
