Position Summary
Achieve nursing care needs assessments, evaluate care effectiveness, and integrate nursing theory and research into clinical practice. Lead the nursing team to uphold patient care standards.
Duties
- Apply nursing theory to assess, diagnose, treat, and evaluate patient health care responses.
- Assess patient health care preferences and expectations.
- Collaboratively coordinate the continuum of care across settings.
- Develop patient care plans based on patient conditions, ages, and other factors, prescribing interventions to achieve expected outcomes.
- Implement patient care plans according to patient priorities, including interventions identified through nursing diagnoses. Document/report interventions and patient/family responses.
- Collaborate and integrate patients and families into multidisciplinary patient care plans.
- Develop, coordinate, and implement transfer/discharge planning throughout the patient's episode of care.
- Implement nursing interventions according to department, division, and/or unit policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Follow universal precautions.

Salary
$61,183 minimum at 100% effort to commensurate. Salary will be based on years of experience and percent effort
Schedule
- Monday–Friday 8-hour shifts with varying report times based on procedure suite needs.
- This position includes weekend and holiday coverage which includes a rotation that requires up to 1-2 weekends a month and 1 holiday a year.
- Weekend/holiday coverage is typically no more than four - six hours per day and may be canceled if clinic support is not needed.

Education
- An Associate’s Degree in Nursing, a Diploma in Nursing, a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing, Professional Masters of Nursing and Healthcare Practice (MNHP), MSN/Clinical Nurse Leader, or a Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN, MA) is required.
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills with patients/families, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members as demonstrated through written and verbal interactions.

- 5+ years of OBGYN nursing experience
