Staff Nurse - LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

About the role

Marklund is a nonprofit organization providing residential, educational, and therapy services to individuals with profound disabilities. We are seeking dedicated Staff Nurses with a LPN to join our team in Elgin.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, tube feedings, and treatments as prescribed.
• Prepare quarterly health assessments and annual assessments.
• Inform the physician of changes in resident health status and implement physicians' orders to ensure optimal health care.
• Complete daily charting for care provided.
• Act as a liaison between residents, parents, physicians, consultants, and case managers regarding resident status.

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), current on the Illinois Health Care Worker Registry.
• Possess current BLS CPR certification for Healthcare Workers.
• Ability to perform essential functions and meet job's functional and environmental requirements.

Pay

$32.25/hr - $34.75/hr based on qualifications and experience. Additional differentials apply based on shift and weekend availability.
