About the role
The Staff Nurse provides specialized nursing care using knowledge from biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and direct family-centered care for individuals or groups.
- Demonstrate skills to address physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs across all ages.
- Perform leadership, professional duties, patient-centered care, quality improvement, safety initiatives, and staff education.
- Support provider collaboration, promote evidence-based practices, and utilize informatics and technology.
- May be temporarily assigned to different areas based on patient needs.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or obtained within 5 years)
- RN license in Ohio
- BLS certification
- Minimum one year of healthcare experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Experience with electronic medical records (e.g., EPIC) and Microsoft Office preferred
- Ability to lead, motivate, and collaborate within a team environment
