Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

About the role

Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu, including:

• Interventional cardiac catheterization unit
• Minimally invasive surgical suite
• Comprehensive women’s center
• CT scan and MRI services
• Retina center
• Team triage approach in the emergency room
• Quality urgent care for all ill and injured patients
• Follow-up care and referrals

Responsibilities

As the Registered Nurse at Pali Momi, your responsibilities would include:

• Providing professional and compassionate nursing services through the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of patient care
• Functioning as an associate to a charge nurse and assuming charge nurse responsibilities with time

Requirements

Minimum qualifications include:

• A current Hawai’i Registered Nurse license
• A current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) CPR card
• One (1) year recent registered nurse experience in an Emergency Department setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Two (2) years recent registered nurse experience in an Emergency Department
• A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
• A current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) CPR card
