Staff Nurse - Critical Care

About the Role

The Staff Nurse Resource Pool II provides specialized clinical nursing care across multiple units, emphasizing family-centered, patient-centered, and evidence-based practices. Flexibility to work across various units based on patient needs is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Demonstrate knowledge of physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs of patients.
• Perform leadership, mentorship, and professional duties.
• Support collaboration and quality improvement initiatives.
• Utilize informatics and technology in patient care.
• Participate in system-based practices.
• Provide staff education and contribute to quality safety initiatives.
• Support a team-oriented environment.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (or completion within 5 years).
• Active RN license in Ohio.
• BLS certification (ACLS, NRP, PALS required within one year).
• Minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (preferably EPIC).
• Ability to work under pressure and collaborate effectively in a team.

Schedule

• Part-time (24 hours per week).
• Onsite work with rotating shifts, including every 3rd weekend.
• Focus on critical care floating.
