Staff Nurse
About the role
NHS Ayrshire and Arran is seeking Registered Mental Health Nurses to join their Older Adult Mental Health Inpatient units. The positions are permanent and available on various wards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred care and evidence-based, recovery-focused interventions
- Collaborate with patients and the multidisciplinary team
- Co-ordinate the care of patients for whom you have named nurse or daily responsibility
- Escalate concerns to the appropriate personnel
- Support the development and line management of non-registered nursing staff
- Ensure personal adherence with relevant legislation
Requirements
- First level Registered Mental Health Nursing qualification and current NMC registration
- Evidence of continuing professional development
Qualifications
Applicants must have a UK driving license.

Schedule
Ward 3: 1 full-time post - 72 hours (7 shifts) per fortnight
Dunure Ward: 2 full-time posts - 72 hours (7 shifts) per fortnight
Clonbeith Ward: 1 full-time post - 72 hours (7 shifts) per fortnight
Pay
The pay details are based on a full-time contract and must be pro-rated for part-time positions.
