Staff Nurse, Ambulatory, Neurology Practice

In this role, you will support patients with neurological conditions through hands-on clinical care, patient education, telephone triage, medication management, and close collaboration with providers and the broader care team.

Responsibilities

• Support patients with neurological conditions through hands-on clinical care
• Provide patient education
• Perform telephone triage, assessing patient needs, prioritizing concerns, and coordinating follow-up care
• Manage medication refills, prior authorizations, and insurance-related workflows
• Collaborate with providers and the broader care team

Requirements

• Preferred: Experience in an ambulatory, outpatient, or physician practice nursing setting
• Strong telephone triage experience and the ability to assess patient needs, prioritize concerns, and coordinate follow-up care
• Experience with medication refills, prior authorizations, insurance-related workflows, and patient education
• Neurology or specialty practice experience is preferred

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ASN or BSN nursing program
• Current Pennsylvania RN license required
• Provider BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) required

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and insurance processes

Pay

$34.34 - $53.20 per hour
