What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Define the machine learning data and feature strategy for fraud detection
• Own the end-to-end feature engineering pipeline to improve ML performance against account takeover and scams
• Diagnose gaps in tooling infrastructure and drive solutions based on industry evolution
• Collaborate with Machine Learning Engineers to translate insights into production-ready systems
• Mentor junior team members and set technical direction for the ML Analytics function

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning analytics, data science, or a related field
• Deep expertise in Spark, Python, and big data machine learning
• Proven experience in feature engineering for machine learning models
• Holistic understanding of the evolution of the machine learning industry over the past decade
• Strong background in risk or payments machine learning preferred

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with modern machine learning feature stores (e.g., Tecton, Feast)
• Prior work experience in FinTech companies, payments platforms, or risk solution vendors
• Familiarity with crypto-specific fraud vectors, including account takeover and scam flows
