About the role

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a regulated financial services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with teams to manage accurate inventories, risk assessments, and governance materials for models and Generative AI applications
  • Review methodologies and data inputs to identify areas needing further analysis
  • Apply a risk-based approach to assess quantitative methods and technologies
  • Conduct model risk assessments and monitoring reviews to meet internal and regulatory standards
  • Develop governance strategies for evolving technologies like machine learning and GenAI applications
  • Respond to inquiries from regulators and external stakeholders regarding models and GenAI issues
  • Track model risk issues and recommend improvements as risks and inventory evolve

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a quantitative field (finance, mathematics, economics, statistics)
  • 4+ years in model risk management, validation, governance, machine learning, or related field
  • Internship or project experience in model risk management, validation, machine learning, or data science
  • Basic understanding of AI/ML methodologies (e.g., tree-based models, neural networks)
  • Familiarity with Generative AI applications
  • Proficient in coding (R, Python, Matlab)

Pay

$157,000 – $217,500 annually
