Staff Machine Learning Engineer, Notifications Relevance

Responsibilities

• Design and implement content discovery algorithms to enhance user personalization
• Drive the vision and understand the Notifications product thoroughly
• Enhance recommendation capabilities and develop new pipeline components while deploying ML models
• Serve as the primary ML domain expert, overseeing model deployment and architectural decisions
• Collaborate with various teams including ML, Product, Infrastructure, and Data Science to solve complex technical challenges

Qualifications

• 8+ years of industry experience with a focus on large-scale recommendation systems; notifications experience preferred
• Prominent ability to identify key opportunities and drive scalable improvements in notifications relevance
• Strong experience in building and deploying large-scale machine learning models using PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Experience with LLM in production and applying generative AI to enhance recommendation systems
• Proficient in object-oriented programming, particularly in Python and Golang
• Big plus: familiarity with state-of-the-art model architectures
• Big plus: experience in building production agentic AI frameworks
