About the Role
Responsible for a variety of hardware and software solutions across all life cycle stages. As an active partner, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality products that meet business requirements based on defined outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business teams to creatively identify, evaluate, implement, and improve technologies and processes, arriving at mutual, cost-effective solutions utilizing Lean and Agile principles.
- Lead the development of winnable strategies that creatively use resources to anticipate and solve problems, resulting in innovative solutions for the business using alternatives beyond the obvious.
- Drive the evolution of support by delivering products at the site, including sensor enablement, data visualization, mobility, vision systems, etc., to enable data-driven decisions with speed and agility.
- Ensure stability of site operations through obsolescence planning, patching compliance, and asset maintenance management.
- Maintain documentation on all systems, installations, and configurations.
- Coordinate and communicate all Change Management and Risk Management activities.
- Lead in the evaluation and implementation of third-party software solutions.
- Initiate and coordinate outsourced supplier efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience, OR Associate’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of professional experience, OR High School Diploma with a minimum of 9 years of professional experience.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a Distinct Area of Work (DAW) or IT.
- Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.
- This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, asylee, or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
