For our client, we are seeking a Staff Industrial Designer to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will lead operational priorities where safety, quality, compliance, and execution discipline are central to success. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a healthcare environment. Location: New York, NY - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $215,050 – $264,150 annually Responsibilities Design and develop large-scale fitness equipment, integrating subsystems and user interfaces Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Engineering, to create engaging fitness solutions Lead end-to-end product development from conceptualization to launch Make informed design decisions, articulating the rationale behind them to stakeholders Stimulate creative thinking through diverse inputs and facilitate brainstorming sessions Communicate design ideas using prototypes, sketches, and CAD presentations effectively Manage multiple projects at various stages while maintaining design quality Qualifications 8+ years of experience in industrial design, preferably with a background in automotive, aerospace, or large equipment sectors Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design or related field Proficient in Solidworks, Keyshot, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator Strong sketching and rendering skills, both analog and digital Experience in bringing analog and digital products to market with ergonomic and usability focus Familiarity with various manufacturing processes including plastic injection molding and metal stamping Ability to manage complex design projects with minimal oversight Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Generous paid time off policy Short-term and long-term disability coverage Access to mental health services 401k plan with matching contributions and tuition reimbursement options Employee Stock Purchase Plan Fertility and adoption support along with generous parental leave policies Childcare and family care discounts Free access to the the company Digital App and product discounts Pet insurance and commuter benefits including Citi Bike discounts Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
