Staff Hydrogeologist II

Responsibilities

• Conduct groundwater sampling, aquifer testing, and drilling oversight
• Analyze hydrogeologic data and prepare technical reports, maps, and figures
• Support project planning, permitting, and compliance documentation
• Assist in the development and review of Health and Safety Plans (HASP)
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support project execution
• Monitor field activities to ensure data quality and adherence to protocols
• Communicate findings and updates to project managers and clients
• Contribute to project close-out documentation and regulatory reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Studies, or Environmental Science with a geology focus from an accredited institution
• 3-5 years of relevant experience; advanced degree or cooperative education may count toward experience
• Combination of office and outdoor work environment; outdoor work involves significant walking distances in uneven terrain, dirt, varying temperatures, weather conditions, wildlife, and noise
• Willing to travel a minimum of 50% of the time
• Must have a valid driver's license

Pay

Salary Range: $62,000.00 - $70,000.00
