Staff Fullstack Engineer, Core Analytics
About the role
The Fullstack Engineer will work with the Core Analytics team to define, build, and ship end-to-end features that elevate the Analytics experience. Responsibilities include owning the end-to-end delivery of projects, driving business impact through leading the highest-leverage projects, and mentoring and contributing to the success of other engineers.
Responsibilities
- Work with Product Management and Design to generate and turn novel ideas into engineering solutions
- Drive business impact through owning the end-to-end delivery of projects
- Have a strong critical thinking and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Get involved in performance optimization and scaling efforts
- Lead the highest-leverage projects
- Have interest or experience in technical leadership of an engineering team
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building and improving robust, scalable backends and developing interactive, user-facing applications or websites
- Understand the whole stack and flow of user-facing web applications
- Backend experience with application backends, microservices, and supporting high-throughput ingestion systems
Qualifications
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills and a proven track record of successful delivery and execution
- Can synthesize customer input and architectural knowledge to create an outsized engineering impact
- Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to changing requirements
- A constant desire to learn and grow in the field of web development
- Strong practitioner of automated testing
- Familiarity with React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, JavaScript, Redux, AWS
- Interest or experience in technical leadership of an engineering team

Based on legislation in various regions, the total target cash range for this role is as follows:
- Colorado: $198,000 - $299,000
- New York City: $220,000 - $331,000
- San Francisco Bay Area of California: $220,000 - $331,000
- California outside of the San Francisco Bay Area: $198,000 - $299,000
- Washington state: $198,000 - $299,000
