Staff Full Stack Engineer, Mobile Platform

About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our small, focused Mobile team and help take Bubble’s native iOS and Android support to the next level. You’ll expand the mobile builder, deepen the React Native runtime, and build the infrastructure that lets millions of Bubble users ship real apps to the App Store and Google Play. This is a full-stack role with a frontend focus (~70% frontend, 25% backend).

Responsibilities

• Drive design and implementation of our Mobile application builder.
• Architect deployment pipelines for seamless publishing to the Apple App Store and Google Play, integrating with Bubble’s existing infrastructure.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and support teams to ensure a consistent and high-quality user experience across web and mobile.
• Mentor and coach engineers to improve their technical skills and leadership.
• Partner directly with executive leadership to define roadmaps, inform and commit to priorities, and execute effectively.

Requirements

• 8+ years of industry experience as a software engineer, preferably at high-growth startups.
• Proven track record building mobile products and features across the full stack, with strong JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals and hands-on React Native experience; native iOS or Android exposure is a bonus.
• Experience leading projects and designing technical solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD, testing automation, and troubleshooting issues across the stack.
• Strong coding skills and the ability to mentor other engineers.
• Excellent communication skills.

Pay

Our estimated salary for this role at Bubble ranges from $200,000-$259,000. Actual pay is determined by multiple factors such as skills, qualifications, experience and market demand.

Schedule

This is a remote-friendly role open to candidates authorized to work in the U.S. Our team is based in NYC and works Eastern Time. We prefer hiring within commuting distance of our Manhattan office because we value getting together in person regularly.
