Staff Full Stack Engineer (Frontend) - Time Products

Job Summary

Rippling is seeking an experienced Staff Full Stack Engineer to join the Time Products team. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of Rippling’s workforce management products, including Scheduling, Time & Attendance, and Leave Management.

The Time Products team is at the forefront of Rippling’s international expansion. Key initiatives are being prepared for launch in 2026, requiring a leader who can drive innovation and excellence in product development.

Responsibilities

• Build & Innovate: Write clean, scalable code while driving the architecture and technical design of critical products.
• Set the Bar for Engineering Excellence: Ensure high-quality software through technical leadership and collaboration.
• Lead Design & Architecture: Define and guide the technical design of new features, aligning with long-term company goals.
• Mentor & Elevate the Team: Guide junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
• Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product managers, designers, and other teams to prioritize and refine the product roadmap.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on backend engineering experience using React, React Native, Python/Django or similar systems.
• Strong computer science fundamentals with experience designing and optimizing complex systems at scale.
• Product-oriented mindset, understanding the product, user experience, and design.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and solve problems using the right tools.
• Ability to adapt and innovate in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
• Experience leading technical design discussions and collaborating cross-functionally to build robust, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• Deep technical expertise and strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms and APIs.
• Knowledge of database systems and performance optimization.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and equity. The salary range for US-based employees is 180,000 - 315,000 USD per year, depending on location.

The base salary for this role is between 180,000 - 315,000 USD per year, based on location.

Schedule

This role requires working in the office at least three days a week for office-based employees.
