About the role
The role involves building high-performance interfaces for visualizing and planning datacenter infrastructure. The ideal candidate will work directly with infrastructure engineers to understand their workflows, identify pain points, and translate complex operational processes into clean, usable interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Build extremely high-performance interfaces for visualizing and planning datacenter infrastructure, often rendering massive amounts of structured records (device inventories, cable plans, rack assignments, power allocations) with sub-second interaction and filtering.
- Create interactive planning tools for rack elevations, floor layouts, power distribution, and network topology that let engineers design, model, and validate builds before physical work begins.
- Develop data-dense views and dashboards that serve as the authoritative source for build planning and asset tracking across CoreWeave's global footprint.
- Design and consume APIs with attention to type safety, pagination, caching, and error handling.
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers to shape API contracts that support the performance and data complexity the UI demands.
Requirements
- Deep proficiency with TypeScript and React.
- Experience building interfaces that handle large, complex datasets with extreme performance requirements.
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture, including component design, state management, data fetching and caching patterns, and build tooling.
- Track record of frontend performance optimization, including bundle analysis, runtime profiling, and making data-heavy UIs feel fast under real load.
- Genuine curiosity about or direct experience with physical datacenter infrastructure.
- Ability to work directly with infrastructure engineers to understand their workflows and translate complex operational processes into clean, usable interfaces.
- Experience designing and consuming APIs with attention to type safety, pagination, caching, and error handling.
- Experience with datacenter operations, infrastructure planning, or familiarity with DCIM tools like NetBox or Sunbird.
- Experience working alongside backend teams writing Go, and comfort collaborating on API design across the stack.
- Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code, Kubernetes, or cloud platform concepts.
- Experience with frontend observability, CI/CD pipelines, and modern build systems.
- Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and frontend security best practices for internal tooling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 7+ years of professional frontend engineering experience, with meaningful senior-level ownership of production systems.
