Staff Engineer, DevOps

For our client, a leader in the healthcare space, we are seeking a Staff Engineer DevOps to join their team. This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a healthcare environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and security
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues
• Manage Windows and Linux servers for performance and availability
• Install and configure servers and relevant software
• Apply updates and patches for system security
• Ensure regular backups and data recovery processes
• Collaborate with teams to enforce DevOps standards and practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
• 8+ years of relevant experience in IT
• 4+ years in system and network administration
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and related hardware
• Proficient in Windows and Linux server administration
• Experience in configuring and managing network devices like routers and switches
• Familiar with virtualization technologies like VMware and Hyper-V

Pay

$122,000 – $205,000 annually
