Staff Engineer - Angular

What We'll Need

The Staff Engineer – Angular is a senior technical leader responsible for the architecture, performance, and reliability of consumer-facing web applications that support a high-volume, multi-billion-dollar digital commerce platform.

• Design and implement scalable front-end systems integrated with distributed backend services on AWS (CloudFront, S3, API Gateway, etc.)
• Drive technical decisions that impact user experience, conversion, and system reliability at scale
• Establish and enforce front-end engineering standards, patterns, and best practices across teams
• Lead complex architectural initiatives such as performance optimization, state management strategies, and modular design systems
• Partner with product, UX, and backend teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, accessibility, and maintainability
• Own observability, monitoring, and incident response for front-end systems in production
• Mentor engineers and elevate overall team capability through technical leadership and coaching
• Identify and solve ambiguous, high-impact technical challenges in a high-throughput transactional environment
